Methodology
One curriculum, tailored per audience.
A five-part structure, adapted in depth and emphasis for whoever is in the room — civil society, private sector, or press — but never rebuilt from scratch.
01
Framing
Shared definitions, national policy context, and the benefit-chain logic connecting a technology to an environmental outcome.
02
Opportunity
Where digital tools can accelerate sustainability outcomes across energy, mobility, agriculture, industry and public administration.
03
Risk
The digital sector's own footprint — e-waste, data-centre energy use, embodied carbon — and how to reduce it.
04
Governance & financing
Enabling factors, regulation, and the financing mechanisms (public, blended, private) that let opportunity survive contact with the market.
05
Action
Co-constructed output — a charter, an advocacy note, a roadmap — owned by the participants, not handed to them.

International methodology:case studies and training content are assessed using the ITU's benefit-chain framework and Recommendation ITU‑T L.1480 for calculating a digital solution's net environmental benefit (gross benefit, minus the footprint of the solution itself), alongside the ITU/UNDP enabling-factors framework (digital public infrastructure, leadership & strategy, governance & regulation, skills, financing & partnerships).
More national frameworks will be added here as the network extends beyond Sénégal.
